UDOT has information for the public on the Indian Canyon construction on Highway 191. “This week, crews are working in the S-curves between mileposts 264 and 265,” shares the announcement. “Please follow traffic control measures in the area, including merge arrows and construction barrels on the centerline. Watch for construction activity and help keep our crews safe.” UDOT also shared that continuing into September, crews are working in multiple locations throughout the canyon. There will be excavation for shoulder widening between mileposts 267 and 269, paving an overlay between mileposts 262 and 266, and guardrail installation starting September 14th between mileposts 261 and 267. “Drivers should expect longer wait times as crews may have up to three separate traffic control areas. Longest wait times through the canyon are expected to be around 30 minutes. Crews are monitoring traffic cues and staggering work to help prevent longer delays when possible.”
