Roosevelt City and Roosevelt City Police Department have some reminders for those enjoying the UBIC festivities. First, the UBIC parade is happening this Saturday, August 1st and as a reminder, the parade goes from 10am to approximately noon. During the parade, the roads will be closed on the parade route and other areas. Traffic will be routed to 300 East during the parade. Another reminder for those enjoying the UBIC festivities: There’s no beer or alcohol allowed in city parks so keep your drinks at home. There is also no smoking or vaping allowed at city parks though it is allowed in parking lots. Finally, motorized vehicles such as side-by-sides or golf carts are not allowed in the city parks.
