Two Chances To See ‘Little Women’ Tomorrow At Vernal Theatre Live

The joy derived from community theatre takes on many forms. One cast member in tomorrow’s productions of ‘Little Women’ at Vernal Theatre Live is a prime example of this. Performing in community theatre has been an important part of McKenna Christiansen’s life but tomorrow’s 2 showings of ‘Little Women’ breaks a 4 year streak since performing in her last production. In those 4 years, she kept tied to local community theatre by helping behind the scenes, organizing and making the props for about 10 shows, having done about 30 prop jobs at Vernal Theatre Live in total. ‘Little Women’ has been unique for McKenna as it is the first show she has done props for and performed in. “I remember watching this show 10 years ago. I was sitting in the front row crying, so moved by the way they told that story,” shares McKenna. “To get to be part of the storytelling this time is such a joy.” Visit vernaltheatre.com for tickets to tomorrow’s matinee at 2pm or the evening show at 7pm.
