TriCounty Health District COVID-19 Transmission Index Levels (2/25/21 – 3/3/21)

The COVID-19 Transmission Index Levels maintained from last week. After months of being listed at the High Transmission Level, both Uintah County and Duchesne County have stayed at the Moderate Level and Daggett County remains at the Low Transmission Level. According to Thursday’s press release, Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 7 percent and there were 104 cases in the past 14 days. Duchesne County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 5 percent and there were 38 cases in the past 14 days. Daggett County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 0 percent and there were 0 cases in the past 14 days. Over the past 7 days from the time of the press release, the tri-county area as a whole had 16 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations and 0 new COVID-19 related deaths. Statewide total ICU utilization was 73 percent and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization was 19 percent.
