TriCounty Health Department has been recognized for its ability to plan for, respond to, and recover from public health emergencies. The National Association of County and City Health Officials and the CDC administer Project Public Health Ready and TriCounty Health has met the comprehensive preparedness benchmarks the project requires. “We are proud to have been recognized by Project Public Health Ready for our high level of preparedness,” shares TriCounty Health Emergency Preparedness Director Rob Grove. “We will continue to improve our ability to quickly and effectively respond to any public health crisis in the Uintah Basin. This honor reflects tremendous effort, dedication and cooperation on the part of our entire team of experts. The most important factor in determining whether we succeed in responding to an emergency will be the actions of our citizens in advance planning, cooperating with authorities and helping each other in a time of disaster.” For more information on Project Public Health Ready, visit www.naccho.org/PPHR
