Tri-County Area COVID-19 Transmission Level Update

The TriCounty Health District has stayed at the same COVID-19 Transmission Index Levels for another week. Uintah County and Duchesne County remain at the High Transmission Level and Daggett County is in the Low Transmission Level. According to TriCounty Health’s press release on Thursday, Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 29 percent and there were 282 cases in the past 14 days. Duchesne County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 25 percent and there were 160 cases in the past 14 days. Daggett County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 14 percent and there were 2 cases in the past 14 days. Over the past 7 days from the time of the press release, the tri-county area as a whole had 7 COVID-19 related hospitalizations and 1 COVID-19 related death. Statewide total ICU utilization was 97 percent and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization was 39 percent.
