Tri-County Area COVID-19 Transmission Level Update (1/28/21 – 2/3/21)

The TriCounty Health District COVID-19 Transmission Index Levels reports Uintah County and Duchesne County at the High Transmission Level and Daggett County at the Low Transmission Level. According to Thursday’s press release, Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 16 percent and there were 157 cases in the past 14 days. Duchesne County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 18 percent and there were 74 cases in the past 14 days. Daggett County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 15 percent and there were 6 cases in the past 14 days. Over the past 7 days from the time of the press release, the tri-county area as a whole had 9 COVID-19 related hospitalizations and 2 new COVID-19 related deaths. Statewide total ICU utilization was 90 percent and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization was 36 percent.
