Vernal City announced this week they are hosting the Annual Downtown Cleanup on Friday, May 1st from 3:00 to 5:00 PM to help freshen up Main Street from 100 East to 200 West in Vernal. Meet at Cobble Rock Park at 3:00 PM. Tools and supplies will be provided. After cleanup, take a stroll down Main Street and support local businesses during Cruzin’ Main specials. “A clean, welcoming downtown doesn’t happen by accident,” shares Vernal City. “It happens because people care enough to show up, pitch in, and take pride in the place we call home.” Another great opportunity to beautify the community is to take advantage of Free Dump Week in Uintah and Duchesne counties April 25th through May 2nd.
