The closure of the Rough Rider Shooting Complex has been extended. “We are excited for the expansion to the gun range and know you will love it too!” shares the Roosevelt City announcement. “With the amount of work happening on site, the gates will need to stay locked for the time being…We appreciate your patience as we work on expanding the Rough Rider Shooting Complex!” The temporary closure was implemented in February as crews performed earthwork for additional ranges. It was initially hoped the complex would reopen in mid April but more time is needed. The Rough Rider Shooting Complex has been a work in progress for several years, with improvements continuing as funding and resources allow.
