The Uintah Ute boys basketball team hosted Carbon Thursday. The Utes started strong, then the Dinos reeled them in to close the gap to two at the half. The Utes controlled the second half for the 60-43 victory. Dauson Gardiner led the Utes with 18, with Jaxon Jenson scoring 14 and Gabe Elison 10 in the win.
The Utes host Timpanogos Friday then travel to Emery Saturday.
