Strata Networks Issues Warning About Scam Sent In Their Name

by | Aug 24, 2022 | News | 0 comments

STRATA Networks is warning the public of scammers sending out text messages to STRATA customers. The texts claim to be giving prizes to those that have been paying bills on time, prizes like a free ipad pro and magic keyboard. While STRATA is doing an awesome giveaway, that giveaway will be through email, not through text. The company has a few tips to help know the difference between a scammer and when STRATA is contacting you. Any official texts will come from the main numbers, 435-622-5007 or 435-265-3281, and will always begin: STRATA.  If it sounds too good to be true, chances are it is. STRATA will not refer to you as “UBTANET customer.” If you aren’t sure about a text, call STRATA at 435-622-5007 or stop by a STRATA store. “We will be more than happy to verify whether it is real,” shares STRATA. “Whatever you do, don’t click the link until you are sure it isn’t a scam. Many nasty people would love to get your information, so don’t make it easy for them.”
