An investigation into shots fired on March 8th in Uintah County on 6000 North revealed that the camp trailer at the location of the report was reported stolen out of American Fork. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, the officer had first-hand knowledge that the trailer was owned by 48-year-old Jared Craig Ekker. On March 16th, Ekker was located and was arrested for possession of the stolen trailer. He told officers that he had purchased the trailer from a female that he knew as Jessica and that she was the one that stole the trailer. Ekker admitted that he had lived in the trailer for a couple years but that he had not been living there in recent weeks. He was booked into Uintah County Jail for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.
