Meth, Marijuana, And Tomahawk Found During Probationary Check

An adult probation and parole check ended in arrest and new charges last week in Duchesne County. 24-year-old Taya Lynn Draper was found in possession of drugs and weapons during a probationary check at her residence. Draper identified the items as meth, marijuana, and a tomahawk. She was arrested on March 11th and is now charged with felony Possession of a Dangerous Weapon by a Restricted Person as well as other drug related charges. Draper was scheduled for her Initial Appearance in 8th District Court on Monday, March 18th.
