Speeding Stop Ends In Arrest In Uintah County

A traffic stop for speeding resulted in arrest and multiple charges this week in Uintah County. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, neither the 18-year-old driver nor the 17-year-old passenger had driver’s licenses. In addition to nicotine vapes and an open container, the officer found in the vehicle a black bag with a Glock handgun, magazine, marijuana joint, and over $2,000 dollars in cash. The driver, Triceson Duncan, was arrested and transported to the Uintah County Jail. Duncan is charged with 3rd Degree Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Restricted Person and Misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance, Drug Paraphernalia, Speeding, and No Valid License.
