Sentencing Scheduled For Vernal Mother And Son Charged After U.S. Capitol Riot

Sentencing is scheduled for a Vernal mother and son who pleaded guilty to charges related to entering the United States Capitol building during the events of January 6th, 2021. ABC4 Utah reports that Landon Manwaring and his mother Susan Manwaring traveled to Washington, D.C. to participate in rallies supporting Donald Trump and on January 6th they followed the crowd that marched to the U.S. Capitol and entered the building through the senate wing door. According to ABC4 Utah, both were charged with Class B Misdemeanor charges of unlawful parading, demonstrating, or picketing in the Capitol and individually pleaded guilty. Landon Manwaring is scheduled for sentencing today while Susan Manwaring is scheduled for sentencing on January 19th, 2023.
