Americans, including plenty in the Uintah Basin, are hoping for more affordable healthcare options with a new administration in office. Senator Mike Lee shared his perspective on repealing Obamacare during his visit to the Uintah Basin this week. Senator Lee clearly stated that he believes Obamacare needs to be repealed and stated that the Affordable Care Act has proven unaffordable to Americans across the board. “I would like to see it repealed and handled on a delayed implementation provision as we wait to see what comes next,” shares Senator Lee. “This should be handled on an interim basis, not as a one size fits all.” Lee also emphasized he would like to see change happen by breaking up the process into a variety of bills. He believes a solution will get there faster by breaking up the process and not trying to do the entire thing at once.
