School Districts Thank Those Retiring For Years of Service

Before the school years come to a close local school districts are sharing their thanks for the employees that have announced their retirement. In Uintah School District, there are 12 employees retiring after 30 or more years of employment, 8 employees retiring with between 20 and 30 years of employment, and 4 employees with less than 20 years of employment. 18 out of the 24 retirees are educators. “Before this school year ends, we’d be remiss if we didn’t express our gratitude to these outstanding employees for the 639 years of combined service they’ve given to our district, our students and our community,” shared Uintah School District. “Each has chosen to retire this year. We will miss them when school starts again in the fall.” Those retiring are as follows: Steve Scott, Glade Wooley, KaLynn Sheffer, Scott Porter, Raymond Massey, Robert Keel, Christine Oviatt, Cathy Bilbey-Kempton, Gloria Hall, Linda Lynch, Sherry McMullin, Elaine Carter, Katy Cundall, MaryLou Molina, Jerri Harrison, Tami Chew, Deborah Davis, Deborah Chatham, Dennis Atkin, Joella Batty, Tanna White, Russell Carter, Christine Bartlett, and Jose Hernandez. Duchesne County School District also recently recognized their 12 district retirees, expressing their deep appreciation. “Each of these employees have given tremendous service to the students, staff, and parents of Duchesne County School District over the years,” shared Duchesne County School District. “We wish to publicly thank them for all they have done and wish them well!” Those retiring are as follows: Steve Sanderson, Jackie Davenport, Dixie Warren, Wendy Busenbark, Sue Timothy, Cynthia Bristol, Jill Stansfield, Debra Robinson, Gloria Butcher, Dan Carner, Doyle Murphy, and Jackie Thacker.
