The Roosevelt Police Department is requesting the public’s help in the case of a business break in last month. On December 15th, an individual broke into the Utah State Liquor Store in Roosevelt around 4:20am. Roosevelt PD has used social media to share security footage from inside the store during the break in. According to Roosevelt Police Chief Rick Harrison, a relatively large amount of cash was taken from the liquor store. Police have followed leads, reviewed video from the surrounding businesses and interviewed former employees but so far the information has not panned out. “The burglar entered the store by breaking the rear door locks [and] he or she went directly to the safe, took the cash and left,” shares Chief Harrison. There has been no other out of the ordinary burglary activity reported in the area. A reward is being offered for the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
