Roosevelt Man Facing Felony Charge Due To Prior Convictions

A Roosevelt man with a list of prior convictions related to alleged possession and distribution of Marijuana and Spice is facing new charges. According to the Probable Cause Statement, an officer’s interaction with 27-year-old Evander Cuch on August 7th revealed that Cuch was driving a vehicle without a valid license and had Marijuana on his person. Evander William James Cuch has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and it is listed as a 3rd Degree Felony because this was at least the 4th offense within 7 years. He’s also charged with a Misdemeanor for drug paraphernalia and an infraction for never obtaining a driver’s license. The list of Cuch’s prior convictions include possessions and DUI. There are also other pending charges in 8th District Court.
