Roosevelt Fire Investigated as Arson

A Roosevelt structure fire is being investigated as arson. According to Roosevelt City Police Chief Rick Harrison, a structure fire was reported Sunday night at about 9:00pm. Neighbors reported the fire located at 400 North 400 East.  “[It] burned a rear shed/garage and did substantial damage to an addition as well as smoke and water damage to the main part of the house,” shares Chief Harrison. “The state fire marshal responded Monday morning [and] concluded his investigation about noon. He determined the fire was intentionally set.” The investigation was then turned over to the Roosevelt City Police Department. The fire is being investigated as arson and Roosevelt City Police are looking for leads. “As of now we have little to go on,” shares Chief Harrison, “but we are canvassing the neighborhood and are following up on a few leads.” To report tips call
