Roosevelt City Police Preparing For Shop With A Cop; Donations Appreciated

Preparations are underway for a special annual holiday tradition. The Roosevelt City Police Department helps to create special holiday memories for kids in the community through the Shop With A Cop program and community support in the form of donations is appreciated. Children and families must be recommended through DCFS, local schools, or faith leaders and priority will be given to families at or below the federal poverty line, families experiencing significant financial hardships or other difficult circumstances. Applications are still welcome and the families that Shop With A Cop is unable to assist will have their information forwarded to the Sub For Santa program for consideration. Printable forms are available at https://www.rooseveltcity.gov/384/Shop-With-A-Cop or can be picked up and dropped off at the Roosevelt City Office. They are due by Tuesday, December 1st. Donations to the program can be made at the main Roosevelt City Office.
