The improvements to 800 South in Roosevelt are obvious at this point. “This project has been years in the making and we’re thrilled to be one step closer to completion,” shares Roosevelt City. “Some finishing work remains, including construction of sidewalk along the north side.” Roosevelt City Manager Ryan Snow explains that plans for 800 South predates his time with the City but has been a focus of the City in recent years. Progress on the project is thanks to multiple funding agencies. “We were able to bring this project in with lots of grant money from the Federal Highway Commission through UDOT, as well as funds from the Community Development Block Grant, Community Impact Board, and Roosevelt City,” explains Snow. “It will be great to have this section of 800 South finished.”
