The Duchesne County Library System has hired new management for the Roosevelt Branch Library. Haylee Toland has been hired as Branch Manager and Melanie Petersen has been hired as Assistant Branch Manager. Haylee Toland is from Altamont and brings experience as an English, social studies, and science teacher. She has a Masters of Education degree and has worked as a Victims Advocate Coordinator for Friends Against Family Violence. Melanie Peterson lives in Ballard and has been an Associate Librarian at the Roosevelt Branch Library for 12 years. “We look forward to the future with them as they continue building on the great foundation of library service laid by our past staff,” shares the announcement. A ‘Thank You Open House’ is being held for now retired but longtime branch manager Stephen Moon on May 3rd at 10am at the Roosevelt Branch Library. All are invited to come say hi and wish him well.
