The Vernal PD reminds citizens of Vernal City that road construction is taking place throughout the city. The crews are doing rock chips and sealant for the roads. The police department asks that drivers make sure that vehicles are not left parked in the roadway, as this will slow the process. If it becomes necessary the police will make attempts to contact owners of vehicles that are obstructing progress in violation of State Statute or City Code. As a last resort vehicles may be towed at the owners expense. The department does not what to take this route so it asks that everyone do their part to streamline this process.
