The holiday travel season stretches from December 23rd through January 1st and AAA reports this as the highest year-end-travel volume on record. 107.3 million Americans traveled away from home during the holiday season making for the ninth consecutive year of rising year-end holiday travel. Basin roads have followed the trend and remained busy, even with days of slick roads and winter conditions over mountain passes.
