Project Alley Announcement

Project Alley, the Uintah Basin’s recovery center for women, is focused on their mission to help local women on their recovery journey. As such, the Project Alley Recovery Board made an exciting announcement this week. “Moving forward, the women who come into our home will no longer be charged program fees,” shares the announcement. “Our heart has always been to remove barriers to recovery, and we believe finances should never stand in the way of a woman who is ready to begin her healing journey.

While there is no cost to the women we serve, providing quality care is not without expense. We estimate it costs approximately $450 to welcome one woman into our home. That amount helps provide essential items such as toiletries, household supplies, prescriptions, and other basic necessities that create a safe, stable, and supportive environment from day one.” Donations, sponsorships, fundraising events, and volunteers are key in providing addiction recovery and mental health services and the Project Alley team remains incredibly grateful for the support received. That continued support is especially appreciated as they move forward with the removal of program fees in order to help more women that need it.
