The Duchesne County Fair is coming up next week with the theme of ‘Country Pride Nationwide’. This year’s Legendary Cowboy title goes to Ferrell Crozier. Ferrell grew up on a dairy farm in the Neola area. The family eventually switched to the beef cattle business. In the late 1980s, Ferrell purchased one-third of his father’s ranch and started his own herd. In 2025, he was honored by the Duchesne County Cattlemen with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Ferrell competed in calf roping and team roping, earning numerous buckles and titles over the years. He also trained and raced horses in chariot competitions. He may have since hung up his spurs but he remains involved in the rodeo world. Family has always been the most important part of Ferrell’s life and he can still be found enjoying rodeos, sporting events, and more with and in support of his children and grandchildren. Congratulations to Ferrell Crozier, this year’s Duchesne County Fair Legendary Cowboy.
