Poaching of Multiple Pronghorn in Uintah County

The Division of Wildlife Resources is seeking information on a poaching incident that took place in February in Uintah County. According to the DWR news release, conservation offices were dispatched to a location east of Jensen where two buck pronghorn had been killed and left to waste. The officers also found a doe pronghorn that had been wounded and euthanized. “Evidence at the scene suggests the shooting occurred between February 6, 2019 and February 9, 2019,” shares DWR. “The DWR is seeking information related to the killing and waste of these animals…A reward may be available to anyone who provides information leading to the successful prosecution of the person, or persons responsible for this crime.” Those with any information are asked to call the UTiP Hotline at 1-800-662-3337.
