The Myton Bench Road construction project continues to make progress. Drivers on Highway 40 from Myton to Roosevelt need to plan for delays as crews near completion of paving. Depending on weather, paving of the eastbound and westbound lanes is expected to finish this week. At the beginning of this week, crews will be adding guardrail, barrier, and signs along the project. One lane will remain open in each direction between 6250 South and Pole Line Road. The UDOT project has become a priority for safety reasons in order to widen Highway 40 to five lanes that includes two travel lanes in each direction and a center turn lane. There will also be 10-foot shoulders in both directions to improve safety.
