KNEU 1250The Rangely Police Chief extended thanks to the Rangely Community following a “Vigil for George Floyd” held on Tuesday in Rangely’s Hefley Park. On Monday, the Rangely Police Department issued a press release to the public that they had been in contact with the event’s organizers and had been assured that the event was not a “protest”.
Vernal Excitement will start with a bang tonight in the Dinosaurland Courtyard in front of the Uintah County Library. As in year’s past, Vernal Excitement takes place on Thursdays starting at 7pm and includes Kids Entrepreneur Market, food trucks, movies at dark, and entertainment.

In the summer the snakes are most active at dawn and dusk. There are five species of rattlesnakes in Utah, with the most common being the Great Basin rattlesnake.
