KNEU 1250Roosevelt City announced Monday that they are saying goodbye to their Chief of Police. “Roosevelt Police Chief Rick Harrison voluntarily resigned from his position over the weekend,” shares their announcement. “He was hired to serve as Chief of the Roosevelt Police Department in 2005 and spent over 15 years serving and protecting the citizens of Roosevelt City and the surrounding area.

The Utah Women and Leadership Project recently released the discoveries the team found in its third and final quantitative look at the leadership in Utah’s public sector. Women hold 29.1 percent of municipal leadership positions, which is lower compared to leaders in Utah state and county governments which are both at 40 percent.
