Uintah High School shared that on Tuesday, May 18th, Uintah High students in the Teaching As A Profession (TAP) program signed letters of intent to become educators. “These 10 young scholars are entering the teaching profession at a critical moment, as enrollment in teacher programs has dropped in recent years, the current teaching force is aging rapidly, and student enrollment is increasing.
The Uintah County Library is always providing unique opportunities for local teens and Mural Day, held May 15th, was certainly that.
