Emergency Closure on Shed Antler Gathering
Gathering deer, elk and moose antlers has been put on hold in 11 counties in Utah, including several northeastern counties. Uintah and Duchesne County both made the list from the Division of Wildlife Resources.
Special Service District Expansion and Appointments to Wait

Spring Runoff Flooding
While many people expect outside financial help when flooding occurs, there is actually very little offered, warns Uintah County Emergency Manager Tal Ehlers. Spring runoff is expected to cause flooding across the Basin and Duchesne and Uintah County officials are urging all residents to personally prepare now to protect their own property.
