Plans for an annual event that means a lot to many local families has been announced. “Join our community for the Out of the Darkness Community Walk as we come together to honor loved ones we’ve lost, support those who are struggling, and help bring hope to others,” shares the announcement. “Every step taken helps fund suicide prevention programs, raises awareness, and reminds our community that every life matters. Whether you’ve been personally affected by suicide, want to support someone you love, or simply believe in making a difference, your presence matters.” The event is scheduled for September 19th at the Colton Pavilion in Vernal at 10am. The walk can be done as an individual or with a team. There is the opportunity for vendors to come and have a booth. Volunteers are an important part of making this event a success.
