The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that an officer involved critical incident took place on Tuesday. “On April 15th, at 8:44pm, Deputies with the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office were made aware of a suspicious person that was reported to be in the Duchesne County area. During this time another person called in about the same vehicle and person that was swerving all over the roadway and drove off the roadway and hit an unknown object. The Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Division conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle for safety reasons and an incident happened between the suspect and a Conservation Officer. The State of Utah Bureau of Investigation will be handling the investigation. There is no danger to the public.”
