There is one new confirmed case of COVID-19 in Duchesne County. As of the Sunday evening COVID-19 Situational Update on www.tricountyhealth.com, there is now a total of 11 confirmed cases with an overall total of 6 in Uintah County, 5 in Duchesne County, 0 in Daggett County, and 0 with the Ute Indian Tribe. Uintah County and Duchesne County each list 1 as Recovered and Duchesne County has had 1 Hospitalization that Uintah Basin Medical Center confirmed that they had treated and released shortly after. While all would prefer there be no new cases it is good news that for the large amount of new testing that has been performed there has only been one new case in well over a week. In fact, last Monday, April 20th, TriCounty Health listed that 701 tests had been conducted in the TriCounty Health District. Less than a week later the count of estimated tests conducted in the Tri-County area is nearing 2,000 with an exact total of 1,949.
