Man Arrested In Uintah County On Allegation of Rape

A man has been arrested on an allegation of rape and is being held without bail at the Uintah County Jail. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, a juvenile female was interviewed at the Children’s Justice Center in September and disclosed that she had been in a relationship with Jonathan James Grey Cloud and that he had raped her at least 2 times, the most recent happening the week before. During the investigation, hand written letters were provided to law enforcement addressed to the female juvenile and signed by Grey Cloud. Law enforcement also had a copy of a recent protective order petition filled out by Grey Cloud for comparison. The letter included apologies from Grey Cloud for his actions, including admission of raping the juvenile female. Johnathen James Grey Cloud was arrested and is charged with 1st Degree Felony Rape. Grey Cloud turns 20-years-old next week.
