A successful partnership is something to celebrate and that’s exactly what took place on Wednesday in Roosevelt. Forty years ago, Life Flight responded to their very first Uintah Basin patient transport at the hospital in Roosevelt. Life Flight was stationed out of the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City and that first flight to Roosevelt was the beginning of an era. Uintah Basin Healthcare celebrated on Wednesday by wearing red and sharing their appreciation with the Life Flight crew. The anniversary is not just for the partnership with Uintah Basin Healthcare but is for the 40th anniversary of Life Flight which was founded in 1978. In that time, Life Flight has transported a total of nearly 107,000 patients, many of which were from the Uintah Basin to Wasatch Front hospitals.
