Roosevelt City Council and administration has proven this year that they want to hear from Roosevelt citizens. In January, the city added a public comment period to the beginning of each city council meeting in order to provide the public with the opportunity to be heard. Most recently the city is having the ‘Improve My City’ competition. Today is the last day for citizens to enter the competition through social media. Roosevelt residents are invited to post a picture on the Roosevelt City Facebook page showing something they feel needs improved in Roosevelt City. This could be a picture of a pothole, cracked sidewalk, or something else maybe no one else would think of. The post needs to include the hashtag #improvemyrooseveltcity and a description of why it needs to be fixed. Entries can be submitted until 11:59pm tonight.
