Mention ‘Jammin’ Janitors’ around a group of tweens and chances are you’ll hear at least one squeal of delight. Tyler Whitesides, author of the

Janitors

young adult fiction series, will be making a stop in Vernal this month as part of the Utah Humanities 19th Annual Book Festival. “We have a lot of kids excited about this series and Tyler Whitesides visit,” shares Uintah County Library teen section librarian Amber Lynch. “Tyler Whitesides and his band the Jammin’ Janitors are reuniting to perform just for this event so it will be a really fun activity.” Uintah County Library has partnered with the Vernal Theatre: LIVE in downtown Vernal to host the event so more families and fans can attend.
