Roosevelt City is spreading the word that travelers can expect to be impacted by upcoming UDOT construction. “The Utah Department of Transportation will be improving an 11-mile section of Highway 40 stretching from the intersection at West 2000 South in the Roosevelt industrial park to approximately 9000 East in Gusher,” shares Roosevelt City. “Construction is scheduled to begin
on July 8th
and will likely be completed in November or December of this year. The goal of the project is to preserve and extend the life of the roadway. Work will include removing and replacing two inches of the existing asphalt surface, removing and replacing pedestrian ramps, repairing sections of the Uintah River Bridge in Fort Duchesne, and repairing sections of guardrail.” Work will take place
