A tip this week from Vernal City Assistant Police Chief Keith Campbell is to stay diligent about post-Christmas package deliveries as there are still package thieves lurking about hoping for the opportunity to enjoy late arriving gifts. Also, Campbell reminds residents that moving into the New Year holiday, law agencies will be increasing patrols on the lookout for impaired drivers. His advice is simple: “Travel safely for the remainder of the holidays and celebrate responsibly for New Years.”
