Halloween Events Around the Uintah Basin

There are plenty of Halloween events to choose from between now and Wednesday in the Uintah Basin. The Vernal Christian Church Community Harvest Party is tonight with the trunk or treat, dinner, and activities starting at 6:30pm. The free community event is at the church on

in Vernal. The 22nd annual Great Jensen Pumpkin Festival is Saturday, October 27th with gates opening at 6:00pm. Admission is free while parking asks for a $3 dollar donation for charity. The Hotel Vernal Haunt runs for 5 more nights including tonight and tomorrow, the 26th and 27th, as well as Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, the 29th, 30th, and 31st. Hotel Vernal is located at

in Vernal and the ticket price is donated to local charities. The Halloween’s Mayor Walk  held annually at the Uintah Community Center is on Wednesday, October 31st, from 4 to 7pm. In Duchesne County, the annual Lunch With a Witch event at Stewart’s Marketplace, a free event, is from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, October 27th. The Roosevelt Halloween Parade is held on Roosevelt’s Main Street on Wednesday, October 31st. Preschoolers can start at 3:00pm and ages 12 and under run from 3:30 to 5:00pm.
