The Golden Age Center is excited to announce that they will resume having lunch and other activities at their facility starting Monday, May 3rd under the guidelines from the Health Department and the CDC. According to a press release issued Thursday, the Golden Age Center is currently requiring patrons to provide proof of being fully vaccinated to enter their facility or provide a copy of their positive COVID-19 test that was taken within the last 90 days. The Golden Age Center will continue to monitor the community’s positivity rate and will update their restrictions as needed. Patrons not wanting to get vaccinated are encouraged to check back monthly to see when the Center will be open to everyone. “As we all do our part to comply with the restrictions under which we are allowed to reopen, the sooner we will be able to resume our normal activities and associations,” says Golden Age Center Director Cindy Ruppe. Dine-in lunch will begin serving at noon. Take out lunch will begin at 12:30 p.m. Temporary hours for exercise and billiards room is 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Dances will resume Friday, May 7, 2021 with the same requirements
