The missing/runaway juveniles out of Duchesne County have been found safe. The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office reported just after noon on Tuesday that all three teens were found about a mile from Cedar Ridge Academy, the private residential treatment center near Roosevelt that the girls walked away from early Monday morning. The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office provided no other details as of Tuesday night except that detectives were attempting to interview the girls. Law enforcement and Search and Rescue stayed busy Monday and Tuesday searching and following leads. The Utah Department of Public Safety helicopter was even utilized using infrared cameras to look for the girls in the dark. One lead came from Salt Lake County on Monday afternoon from a person who claimed to have had contact with the girls. While it has not been shared where the girls were from the time they left Cedar Ridge to when they were found, the most important piece of information is that they are now safe.
