Fire Engulfs ‘Save On Auto’ in Naples on Monday Evening

Freezing temperatures made it difficult to manage a fire called in
Monday evening
in Naples. According to the Naples Police Department, Naples Fire Department and Vernal Fire Department were dispatched to ‘Save On Auto’ at
1400 East 2000 South
at 9:10pm on Monday
. When crews arrived, the main building of the business was fully engulfed. ‘Save On Auto’ is a wrecking yard that sells vehicle parts off wrecked vehicles. “The Naples Police Department with the help of the Utah Highway Patrol and the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office blocked off
2000 South and one lane
of A1500 East to allow the fire department complete access to the fire,” shared
Monday night
’s announcement. “As of this morning, the fire has flared up numerous times along with the freezing temperatures making it harder to manage the fire and it is too early to determine a cause.” The investigation by Naples Police and Naples Fire Department will be ongoing.
