Final Days to Catch the Magic of Singin’ in the Rain

It’s the last week to enjoy this year’s Outlaw Trail Theater production. Singin’ in the Rain  put a smile on countless faces last week and offers more of the same as the show wraps up Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Local Amy Lemon plays the character of Kathy Selden, a role that was made famous by Debbie Reynolds in the 1952 classic film. Amy loved the movie since childhood and when she heard this was the Outlaw Trail Production this year she dropped obligations she had planned for the summer in order to be a part of it. “In this show there is something for everyone,” shares Lemon. “It’s definitely a family show with lots of comedy and effects. Anyone in town would love this show.” Lemon says the excellent choreography is thanks to Director Taunia Wheeler. Some people had never danced before but Taunia “pulled it out of all of us,” says Lemon. “She raised the bar and we’ve stepped up to it.” Tickets for the show are available through www.outlawtrailtheater.com or at the box office before the show.
