Felony Theft Charge Filed In Uintah County

A retail theft last spring has turned into a felony charge for a man arrested this month in Uintah County. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, on August 13, 2026, the officer received information that indicated that Blaine Duggins had been taken into custody and booked into the Uintah County Jail on unrelated charges. The following day, August 14, 2026, the officer conducted a query and learned that Blaine was still in custody. The officer conducted a criminal history query for Blaine, and learned that he had been convicted of a felony theft related charge within the previous 10 years. Due to that information, he was booked into the Uintah County Jail on the charge of retail theft. Blaine Harrison Duggins has now been charged with 3rd Degree Felony Theft.
