The FBI is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Lyle Steed Jeffs. Jeffs, the leader in the FLDS church, fled from home confinement in Salt Lake City over the weekend of
June 18th and 19th
. He had been released on
June 9th
to await his October scheduled trial concerning his alleged involvement in a multi-million dollar food stamp fraud case. Anyone with any information on Jeffs’ location are asked to contact the FBI. Jeffs should be considered armed and dangerous.
