Enbridge Gas announced this month potential plans to expand their natural gas offerings in northeastern Utah. Enbridge Gas Utah has selected Jensen and western Roosevelt as the next potential candidates in their ongoing rural expansion initiative. The Jensen project details state that “this project is dedicated to supporting this unique area by working alongside community leaders, residents, to strengthen local resources and invest in community infrastructure for the future. This potential extension will provide natural gas to residential, commercial and industrial customers. This project reflects a significant investment into the infrastructure and community, including running more than 17 miles of intermittent high pressure pipeline throughout Jensen to homes and businesses.” The project for the western area of Roosevelt would include “running more than 22 miles of intermittent high pressure pipeline throughout West Roosevelt to homes and businesses.” To fill out an interest form in seeing either project become reality, visit the ‘Enbridge Gas Utah, Wyoming and Idaho’ Facebook page and link through the announcement post.
